About this Holiday House

Relax in our comfortable lake house. Linen supplied. WiFi. Netflix. House is nestled in a tranquil, bush setting with beautiful lake and mountain views. Fully furnished with linen, duvets and towels provided. Large deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Master bedroom has its own balcony that overlooks lake and boat ramp. Also on site for your use is a double garage. Pohutukawa Lodge-Lake Tarawera sleeps seven. Lake access is nearby with a selection of excellent beaches. Reserve opposite. Only 3 minutes by car to boat ramp.

We have had an amazing stay at the pohutukawa house. The spot is just breathtaking. All the wee birds flying around and singing along. And before you get back or just after you've left you can jump in the lake to refresh... The house itself was very tidy and homey. For a time out with wanting lots of fun and piece and quiet -- i absolutely recommended to take the time to get out there. Only the drive was a wee bit to steep for our van. We couldn't get up, but had no bother in walking the bit to the house either. Thats why I give it 4 stars. 4.5 really :)

We had such a wonderful stay at Pohutukawa lake house. Mike and Jeanne were the loveliest of hosts, they had thought of absolutely everything and we felt so comfortable and at home. We came home and immediately started planning our next holiday at Pohutukawa lake house. Thank you Mike and Jeanne.
