We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and in touch with nature accommodation. Travelling with 25 Auckland high school students this property allowed for them to socialise and interact with each other the 'old school' way - table tennis, board games, card night and ample paddock for them to run around to burn the extra energy. The house was absolutely beautiful of which allowed us to all eat together and enjoy the place for the entire 4 days. Thank you :) we will most definitely consider returning back on an annual basis.

Really big house with heaps of room for the kids. A great location, with many walks and activities to do nearby as well as the hot pools and hot and cold stream. Such a nice getaway home for winter!

Heaps of space for the kids to run around, both inside and outside. Love the fire place that warms up the huge lounge.

This lodge was absolutely perfect for our extended family weekend away! right between Taupo and Rotorua, with the river close and the hot pools too. the little lake at the house even gave up some of its trout to the younger fisherfolk with us, which made their day! the house was so well set out with everything we needed (and plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms), ample space for hanging out in the evenings, huge dining area and lots of outdoor deck and grass to run and play. we enjoyed ourselves so much we re-booked for next year! thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Loved our stay in Jan. Beautiful rural setting, loads of space and bedrooms for money, all set in a big paddock with lakeside view. Location means it is nice and quiet but was not far from town and the hot pools were even closer. I was recovering from an adventure race and the water helped ease the aching muscles!

We loved Waikite Valley Lodge. It was spacious, warm, and very clean. The beds were very comfy and it was quite. The table tennis table provided great entertainment. We would love to return at a later date.

Thank you for having us stay at Waikite. The house was great and we all had a super time. The weather certainly played ball too.
