Sitting on the deck on the bush line of the Kahurangi National Park, surrounded by abundant bird life watching the sunset over the Tasman Sea then hop into the ever relaxing hot tub to soak away those aches. You might even hear the call of the resident kiwi. Enjoy a BBQ tea or enjoy the local restaurant and pub for dinner.

Enjoy a breakfast, hot coffee or one of Vinnies yummy pies down at Market Cross where there is a Hardware store that has just about anything you want and a Four Square supermarket. Across the road is the Information Centre and a serve yourself fuel station. We have a Restaurant and local pub for lunch and dinner and if you want to take a ten minute drive the Little Wanganui Pub has pub grub. Take a drive to the end of the Heaphy Track and do the Nikau walk or take the 40 minute walk to Scott’s Beach. Drive up to the Oparara Basin and see the Arches or take a tour to see the Moa bones in the caves.
