Our house is a welcoming and well loved 3 bedroom home centrally located in Haast township. This is an older house but is very comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Our absolute priority is the the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. Please be mindful that this is an older home, it is not the Ritz!! It is a work in progress, we have a lot of work to do on it. In time we will redo the bathroom and paint the outside of the house, also, the old windows are abit sticky, we are going to have them replaced, so we ask that you only open the windows with the metal grills on as these are safe to open. thank you for your understanding:) It sleeps 6 people easily, 8 people if the top bunks of the bunk beds are used. There is one Super King sized bed, one double bed and two separate bunk beds. The house is well appointed with a Dishwasher, Microwave Oven, Clothes Washing Machine and Clothes Dryer, as well all the other standard appliances (Fridge, Toaster, Stove/Oven, and Kettle). I am sorry, as of 30/12/24 the Dishwasher is out of order, so cannot be used until I get it repaired. Sorry for this inconvenience. The house is a great place for a group to base themselves while they explore the Haast area. It is close walking distance (under 5 minutes) both to the Grocery/General Store and to the local Hard Antler Pub which serves meals. Also a bonus is the house is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, being situated on a no exit street. The house is a close 5 minute walk to a lovely walking and Cycling track that takes you right to Haast beach and bach mostly through beautiful native bush, a 5 km walk, 10 km return round trip. It has a nice warm log fire for those cold evenings, unlimited firewood supplied. There are oil heaters in the 3 bedrooms for the colder months, and a convection heater for the main living area for some quick heat while the fire is warming up. We have recently had Wifi installed, so you can be fully connected with the outside world, and there is also very good mobile service. Adding to that we have purchased a new Smart TV which allows you to watch all your favourite shows at your leisure! We are looking forward to hosting you at our little slice of paradise!
