Situated on the hill side at the top of the 12 mile bluff the bach is surrounded by Pohutakwa trees. The Blue Bach overlooks the Motukiekie Islands and Tasman sea. Opposite the bach is a walking track to the beach below and islands located a short distance from the shoreline with amazing rock formations and sun sets. The beach is private and secluded with many rock pools and fishing spots to explore and enjoy. Our bach has a composting toilet.

Driving distance to Greymouth is 20 minutes south to Punakaiki north of the Blue Bach is 45 minutes. The Blue Bach is nicely situated to enable trips to Greymouth for dinner and evenings activities or the Punakaiki to rivers for swimming and pancake rocks. Ideal for families or a quiet get away for two, privately located with access erectly to house. Fishing spots on 12 mile beach and swimming all 5 minute walking down the track to the beach below.
