The upper floor contains the large open plan lounge, living and kitchen area with doors opening to the balcony with sea and mountain views. There is also a queen room and family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is the spacious main king bedroom/living area with TV/DVD, and kitchenette with doors opening to a large patio with sea views. There is a single bedroom, and bathroom with shower and bath, and separate toilet. Plenty of space for two couples or family. Ideal for the artist or writer; those wanting to explore the area, or just unwinding and relaxing.

Special Amenities

Great beach views and amazing sunsets, and mountain views surround the house. Tea and coffee provided; heated towel rails, hairdryer, extra heaters and blankets. Toiletries, and all cleaning products. All linen provided. Housekeeping is done at the end of your stay. Plenty of outdoor space, outdoor furniture, parking space and garaging. Surrounded by native bush and native birds. Little Blue penguins live on the nearby beach. Close to the main highway but in a secluded spot.

Situated in the Paparoa National Park. 3 minutes drive or 5-10 minutes' walk to several beaches, bays, river mouth, fishing, swimming, abseiling and surfing. Also within a few minutes' drive are a cafe, pizzeria, and local tours like caving, rain forest train, historic gold mine, bush walks, and more. 20 minutes drive to Westport for supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, petrol, cinema, shopping, information centre, museum and art galleries; seal colony at Tauranga Bay. Punakaiki and Greymouth are half an hour to an hour's drive.

Modern, well-equipped home in a great location. Fantastic views from every window. Lagoon was perfect for swimming and kayaking. We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave!
