About this Holiday House

Instead of using this website you could email enquiries for stays to "". Last minute phone enquiries are also welcome, either 03 7687741, 0278858012 or 0273903891. Our chalet is nestled in native bush 70 metres above sea level on the coast, in a quiet and peaceful setting, 8 km north of Greymouth on the west slopes of the Twelve Apostles Range. There are magnificent views of the sea and bush, with great sunsets. It is a two storey house on poles, with the kitchen/lounge, main bedroom and bathroom all on the lower floor. To get inside you first have to walk across a footbridge. Sliding glass doors, overlooking the sea, open onto the outside deck from both the bedroom and lounge. An upper loft is reached by climbing a vertical ladder next to the front door. This 5 x 3 metre room can be used as either an extra bedroom that will sleep 3-4 people by unfolding the couch to make a double bed and putting out 2-3 matresses. Alternatively it can be used as an extra lounge from which to admire the view of the sea. You can also look at the gallery photos to obtain an idea of the setting and what the inside looks like. Cleaning is included in the price.

Great and relaxing place to stay with wonderful hosts. Even though it rained for some of the time, we still had a wonderful time.

An absolute gem, beautiful sunsets, so peaceful and quiet with only the sounds of the waves and the birdlife. Perfect for a getaway that feels like you're miles from civilisation despite being only a few minutes drive from all the conveniences of Greymouth. We will definitely be back!
