A 1 minute walk across the road and down a 50 meter walkway gets you to this fantastic surf/swimming beach. Very much a work in progress but has been recently repainted inside (80%), with new bathroom fittings, new shower, new toilet, oven, logburner and electric's. We constantly do work here so may see changes and work gear around. Have just replaced front of house and added insulation and double glazing so front of house looks different to the other sides. :-) Trying to replace windows one by one etc. Large sunny sheltered yard, with lovely cottage garden plantings. Pears, Plums, Walnuts when in season. Easy walks to tennis courts or take the kids rock hopping at low tide. Cheviot is an 8km drive away with full amenities available. WIFI is available, but please note no cellphone coverage at all in Gore bay, althou a Spark Phone Box across the road. The cleanliness of this bach will depend on previous tenants, so cannot guarantee it being 100% spotless. Freeview TV, etc. Loads of books, games, tennis rackets, hammock, boogie boards, pentaque etc. Perfect for a few days away with family. Linen and towels not provided.
