Kereru Cottage is a one-bedroom house situated in a peaceful and private garden setting, surrounded by lawn, trees and bushes. There is a separate open-plan living room with a log-burner, sofa, table and chairs and a kitchen with a fridge-freezer and a small gasburner. Shower, washing facilities and composting toilet are at the back of the building with easy access. This self-contained little house resides on a small organic farm with grazing sheep and a wood-working studio. Walks onto the hill provide beautiful sea and mountain views. Gore Bay with its swimming and surfing beach is only a two-minute drive away and Cheviot which has cafes, a pub, supermarket and other shops is a five-minute drive.
