Had an Awesome stay at Diks Cottage. Cottage was well stocked and felt like home. Fabulous view and hidden in amongst Manuka/kanuka trees. Great fire for night time relaxing. Liked the 70's vibe from the bach. Great walk round the lake from top of the road. Bonus of the weekend was the Classic Boat show. Thank you for allowing us to experience Diks Cottage. Would stay again and recommend to other holiday makers.

Great house, has lots of character, I really liked staying here. Nice base in the village for day hikes, spend time with family or friends, great kitchen to self cater, nice dining and lounge area with log burner. Split level home, native bush all around. The downstairs bedroom is small and cold and dark, I wouldn't use that. Main double bedroom and loft area are great for sleeping. Thanks for a great stay, I recommend and would stay again.
We had a lovely 3 nights at Dik's Cottage. It was cosy, comfortable and affordable. We loved the gorgeous views and birdsong and our toddler loved exploring the bush just outside the door. The mattress in the master bedroom was a queen size on a double bed which was not very comfortable, we ended up moving the mattress out into the lounge which was great. Thank you we will come again :)
