The latter of these walking track leads to the hidden mossy picturesque water fall. The area has a delightful mixture of Beech - Podocarp trees, with an impressive variety of ferns, mosses, shrubs and tall forest trees. It is also a good walk, well worth the effort as once out above the bush line, the view of the lake is just amazing, and the breath taking vista’s of the valley and winding Gowan River.
