This comfortable 2 story cottage has living upstairs, sleeping downstairs and the national park wrapped around it. Whether you love to hike, bike, fish, hunt, water sports or just chilling in the quiet of nature, take a step in to de-stress at The Lake Escape. Upstairs the living space is comfortable open plan with lounge, dining, kitchen and a log fire. Relax amidst beautiful lake and mountain views on our long elevated deck, with great indoor outdoor flow. Downstairs is a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a bunk room with four singles and a heatpump for winter. There is one bathroom including shower and sink, and a separate toilet. We are on rainwater and so careful water use is part and parcel of any stay at the bach. Our bach is intentionally wifi free, but full of books, games and opportunities to connect with nature, yourself and your special people. If you want it there is cellphone coverage and lots of old school DVDs. It is a short walk to the lake for walks and fresh swims or the alpine lodge for organic coffee, local wines and yummy food.
