About this Holiday House

Please note $160 is the set rate for up to 6 people. Small 2 bedroom house - one room has 4 bunk beds, the other has a queen bed. One double sofa-bed in lounge, one single. Bath with jets. Large deck. No more than 6 guests at a time please. Guests need to bring towels and linen and clean before departure.

Special Amenities

Up Guthrie Cres (on the hill), the bach is about 10 minutes' walk to the beach. Small view of the sea and coast to the North. Kayaks, wetsuit, boogie boards under the house. Small air fryer oven on bench. Gas stove top and bbq for cooking. The bach is set up ready to go but please take your own linen & towels. Dogs are permitted (outside only) - the deck & section are fenced and there are two kennels on the lawn. There is a fan heater, a stand alone heater in the lounge and a wall heater for winter and in summer there is a small fan. Any items you use (eg tea towels etc) can be left for me to collect. Please leave the bach how you found it.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Castlepoint is a beautiful destination about 40 minutes from Masterton. The walk to the Lighthouse is great and also (for those who are very fit) up Castle Rock. Castlepoint Store does takeaways and cafe food. There is a folder of information at the bach about what Castlepoint has to offer.

Perfect wee batch for a family get away at the beach, Nice comfortable beds and Bridget was super great to deal with when booking the batch :)

2nd time I have stayed here and will be back for sure. Cosy bach with awesome view off the deck down the main beach, well set up and nice quiet street. Bridget is super responsive and easy to deal with and lots of extra's to make your stay at this little slice of Godzone even better.

Great little bach with a awesome view!! Had everything we needed and all fenced in for pets which was good. Small walk to the beach just be prepared for a hill climb on the way back 😊
