This home is an absolute gem, we are so grateful to have all my family here for an early xmas weekend away together, it is huge inside! It is a home away from home, with heaps of room for everyone, and the perfect spot, right across the road from the beach and light house, and the swimming is fantastic, we all had the best sleep here, it is so magical, i am so grateful to Linda, she is wonderful to deal with. This bach is perfect for a large group. There are three floors with bedrooms and each floor with its own bathroom/toilet. It caters for all generations with pool table, table tennis, toy room for little ones, sunny conservatory, roomy bedrooms. Very close to the lagoon and beach. Well equipped kitchen for a large group up to 18. Woodburner in lounge for cold days. We noticed this bach was warm day and night and we used no heating at end of September. The owner was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The only negative was the requirement to clean the bach before leaving. We would willingly have paid extra for a cleaner. The previous users had not cleaned very well.

We have stayed at the MacRae's holiday home in January for about the last 7 years. We just love Castlepoint with all the walks and safe swimming areas for the younger ones. Usually we have a big group of extended family staying. The house is well maintained, has some of the best views of Castlepoint, is close to everything, is comfortable and spacious. There is plenty of parking. Having a games room and bedrooms, bathroom and kitchenette downstairs is a real bonus. The teenagers love it. The older one love it too. We feel very privileged to be able to renew our booking every year. Linda has been very accommodating over the years. Thank you.
