Absolutely beautiful setting. Nice and cosy bach. Beryl is very friendly. Having use of the mooring made the holiday even better. Looking forward to coming back again.

As regular visitors to the Marl. Sounds since childhood in the 60s, we have for the last 25+ years, been visiting this wonderful cottage and truly warm, welcoming and unintrusive hosts in Beryl & john. By choice we wouldn't now go anywhere else. The cottage is always cosy, comfortable and well appointed for our stays and the setting is private and scenic with so much to do and enjoy. The sheer number of regular repeat visitors commenting in the Visitors Book is testimony to the appeal and obvious value of this more than economic, restful option for a break away - short or long. Our visit this time was cut short by events back home and while a 24hr region wide weather bomb possibly made our earlier departure easier to bear, the cottage was still warm, cosy and safe despite the tempest outside.
