Downstairs has a small and private queen-bed sleeping nook, open plan lounge and full kitchen with all equipment needed. Modern and clean bathroom with gas hot water. Lovely landscaped outdoor area with an outdoor fire bath to lay in and soak up the starry southern milky way. Glorious views of the Southern Alps. Things to do in Okarito: Wild windswept beach to explore and collect rocks and driftwood, fishing, kayaking on the lagoon, walking in native bush to secluded beaches, bird watching (Kiwi, Kotuku-White Heron, Spoonbill, Godwits, Fern Bird, Tui) and famous West Coast whitebaiting. Kiwi bird night tours leave from the village. **Please note** (1) There are no supermarkets or stores in Okarito so you need to bring in all your own supplies.
