About this Holiday House

MIDDAY CHECK OUT. Wifi available. ***PLEASE CALL ANYTIME /AFTER YOU ARE EMAILED BACK BY HOLIDAY HOUSES IF YOU DON'T HEAR FROM ME WITHIN 12 HOURS A piece of paradise in Hans Bay,Lake Kaniere. 4 bedroom home i.e. 2 king beds, a queen bed and a smaller twin bed room. Expansive lawn with various seats placed around a native garden with shrubs, pungas and immense bird life. 1 minute walk from the lake. Decking around 2 sides of the house with 2 large sunny areas to (1) sit and enjoy the garden and lawn or (2)some views out towards the lake and mountains. Great hill views from lounge and around the house also. Coffee & tea provided with a dolce gusto machine available too. Bikes can be locked in wood shed. Plenty of seating available inside and out.

Centrally located in Hans Bay with easy 1 minute walk down to the lake front.Private and quiet garden in a bush like setting with hill views and some lake views. 2 extensive decking areas with good tables, chairs and umbrellas to enjoy a BBQ or outdoor relaxing(gas bottles provided).Shed available for bikes/canoes. Stacks of DVD's to watch, games, magazines and books.

1 minute walk to the lake. 20 km only to Hokitika Part of the West Coast Rail Trail. 90 minutes to 2 hours drive to Franz Joseph glacier. 50 minute walk to the beautiful Dorothy Falls. Short drive to the gorgeous Hokitika Gorge, Tree top walks, Hokitika cinema, cafes, wine bars and much more etc. Glow worms nearby.

Very nice house, well appointed and warm. Very close to lake with some amazing views. No storage available in garage which would be useful if you are looking to safely store bikes or kayaks etc. Other than that great value for money.

Hi Gareth- so glad you had a good stay. There is a key to the woodshed with the lockbox keys so guests can get extra dry wood if needed as well as lock their bikes etc in if needed. We keep the garage below locked though for our own bits and pieces. Sorry you missed that☺️. Thanks again for the booking!
