Built in December 2011, we have created a house for families to enjoy - it's like a Tardus! An awesome, massive deck out the back that over looks the stream and puts you in the view with great sun for breakfast, afternoon and into the evening, with sunset over Leith Hill. Enjoy the beech forest and mountain bike tracks right on your doorstep. Dig damns with the children in the river, or just make your own swimming hole! Mountain biking to rival the best in the world, and caters to all levels. Pétanque, tennis, ice skating, a homemade golf course, a water slide, play ground for the children. 4 lakes close by for fishing, swimming and kayaking. You can water ski on Lake Lyndon. Horse trekking up the road at Grassmere. 4 ski fields within 5 minutes to the access roads. River and beech forest walks - The Craigieburn Range rocks! And then 30 minutes up the road is the mighty Arthur's Pass....

Once again a great house to rent we have been enjoying using this place for our workshops since 2008 so well equiped. Beautiful outlook and such a peaceful feel all our participants love the get away feeling of how quiet it is and are amazed how early they get up and enjoy the walks.

Such a lovely peaceful place to stay. Everything was spot on, the place was well appointed for everything you would need in the kitchen. Made my life easier because there was sky, and the All Blacks were playing, (sadly we lost). A great place for a break away from home.
