The space
• Kitchen / Living / Dining:
The highlight of the cabin is the large open plan living and kitchen with high cathedral ceiling. A fantastic space to relax or entertain with family and friends. Relax on the couch by the toasty fire, or around the table in the dining booth, both areas looking out to the mountains with amazing views. Spacious house with extra wide doorways and ramp to front door.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a Nespresso coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker.
• Bathrooms:
Bathroom 1 (upstairs) has a tiled shower, basin and toilet.
Fully tiled bathroom 2 (downstairs) includes a large bath and shower area with shower rail.
There is a separate laundry with washing machine and tub opposite the downstairs bathroom.
• Bedrooms:
Upstairs there are two bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has two Queen Beds.
Bedroom 2 is on the mezzanine overlooking the living room and has a King bed.
Downstairs there are also two bedrooms.
Bedroom 3 has a king single bed and bedroom 4 has a king bed.
Linen sets for each bed and towels are provided.
• Exterior:
A hardwood deck wraps around the North-East aspect of the house, allowing easy indoor / outdoor living on the warmer days.
A long stone driveway which wraps the South-West aspects of the house allows plenty of off-street parking.
A tap / hose is located on the west side of the house (driveway side), for a quick hose down of muddy bikes etc.
The house is surrounded by a bund planted with tussocks for added privacy to the property.
Other things to note
Please note the village is over an hours drive from Christchurch, so please make sure you have enough food and supplies before you depart. There are no supermarkets in the area and closest place to refuel your car is Springfield.
