Living and dining at Laze by the Lake is a free-flowing area with huge bi-fold doors opening out to the expansive deck overlooking the lake. As well as 3 kayaks (2x adult and 1x child size) and a dingy onsite to take out for a paddle across the lake. The bach has an outdoor shower for a quick rinse off, before heading to the games room!

Bring your boat for some trout fishing, a trip to the hot pools at Manupirua, water ski or just enjoying the scenery of the lake. There is a boat ramp close by and your boat can be easily parked at the bach. Okere Falls store is a 20-minute drive for some supplies, an outdoor bar, hot food, and white water rafting just across the road at the Kaituna River. Hells Gate Spa is 7 minutes or 5km from the bach for a relaxing mud bath or massage. Redwood Forest is a 20 minute drive for walking or bike rides.
