About this Holiday House

Our bach is a Scandinavian designed A-frame house built-in 1983. There are 4 levels and 3 of which are by a timber spiral staircase. The walls adorn memorabilia and the furniture reflects the era. You'll love the colorful sunset at night from the deck. Located on the edge of Lake Rotoiti with access through the Tikitere pine forest from SH30. Walking tracks and swimming are close by. Trout fishing at its best.There s plenty of parking and the boat ramp is only 2 minutes away. The old-world charm at the bach is great for relaxing and unwinding.

Special Amenities

Wonderful views of the lake and surrounding areas. There is a short walk to the lake edge beach area where you can relax and swim. The house has an old-world charm and a great friendly feeling. Please note that the property has unfenced access to a large expanse of bush and the lake nearby. It is essential that the guests take personal responsibility for the safety of their group in and around the bush area adjacent to the property. Note there is approx an 8-minute drive from SH30 down a foresty gravel road to the bach. Once there the relaxing starts.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Bring your boat for some trout fishing, a trip to the hot pools at Manupirua, water ski or just enjoying the scenery of the lake. There is a boat ramp close by and your boat can be easily parked at the bach. Okere Falls store is a 17-minute drive for some supplies, an outdoor bar, hot food, and white water rafting just across the road at the Kaituna River. Hells Gate Spa is 7 minutes or 5km from the bach for a relaxing mud bath or massage.
