Great location, easy to pop down to town for anything you need or to the pub. It's a fairly basic house but had everything we needed and was very warm with radiators. It has a nice north facing outlook over native bush, so was very sunny too when the sun came out. We needed to use the pull-out sofa as there were 5 of us, the lounge was big enough for this to be left out the whole time without being in the way. We saw Whitetail deer on the lawn 2 out of 3 mornings. Andrea who looks after the house gave us a lift to and from the ferry terminal with our stuff which was very handy. There was a car available included, though we didn't use it. It suited our needs for our stay.

Spacious and comfortable property in a quiet location, Excellent for anyone wanting to see the local forest birds, including Kaka on the balcony when we stayed in December and Kiwi also heard and seen in the road, near the house. The property has a well equipped kitchen, was clean throughout and use of the car made getting to other parts of the island (at least the parts with roads!) easy. Pickup from and drop off to the ferry were also really helpful. Thank you! :-) Would also recommend Ruggedy Range tours if you are interested in seeing either water birds, including penguins and albatross or the birds on Ulva Island.

This was perfect for us two, with a lovely deck to sit on, Kaka and Kereru visiting, and sunshine pouring in when it wasn't cloudy. Handy to town, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable living room. Will come again sometime. Nice and clean. Thankyou
