Ada's cottage was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and Liz was great in providing us with some local knowledge on walks etc. The house felt very secluded and all we could hear were the birds. It was great being able to explore all that the sounds have to offer from such a central place. The only thing we didn't have enough of was time; so we really hope to get back and stay again. The reviews say it all but we have stayed in many holiday houses and this is certainly one of the most memorable for us. Thanks Liz and Tom.

What an amazing spot! Very well set up for families (we were travelling with 2 preschoolers) who were endlessly entertained by feeding Jag the pig twice a day, picking fresh fruit from the orchard trees or simply exploring the vast expanse and grounds of this property. The owners have really thought of how to cater to families with practical things such as toys, books, DVD's, cot, high chair, and the availability of the canoe (and kayaks) so we could explore the sounds on our doorstep all just added to this beautiful place. Very friendly, accommodating and considerate owners. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough for an escape! Many thanks.
Everything about this cottage is lovely. The place was spotless with very comfortable beds and chairs. The delightful owner checked with us on our arrival and she made us feel welcome. The cottage is very private and is surrounded by trees but there is still a view of the end of the Mahakipawa arm. We thoroughly recommend this holiday home.
