AMAZING VIEWS . . . the place to relax and unwind . . . Located in tranquil Tirimoana, Queen Charlotte Sounds, we are directly across the road from the water and boat ramp. Good walking along Queen Charlotte Track; Birds and natural bush; A great place for children and a HUGE outdoor deck for all the family and friends. Note the following: External stairs to the room downstairs 1 x older canoe onsite for use (not a kayak) Phone coverage is good with some providers and not so good with others - we are in a remote spot. Free internet available.

8 min walk to start of Queen Charlotte Track & Outward Bound School. Wineries only 45 mins away; Nelson approx 1 1/2 hrs easy driving. This is our third stay at the Rothschild House, and we look forward to returning again and again. The home is very cozy and welcoming, and is extremely well equipped in the kitchen. The views down the Queen Charlotte Sound are stunning and change regularly throughout the day. Our dog loves the yard, walks on the beach, and the QC track to Davies Bay. Pam and Carol are very gracious in sharing their family bach with others, and we are very grateful.

A wonderfully provisioned warm comfortable home with everything you need to relax, cook great food, enjoy beautiful walks, or just sit and admire the outstanding views. Our group of 4 are looking forward to returning next year. Thanks Carol and Pam for the use of your wonderful home.
