Ideal place for a family vacation and a great base for all that is good about Hanmer Springs! This property is a 3 bedroom house best suited to families, and comfortably sleeps 2-4 adults and 3-4 children. This is a multilevel home, with a large open plan dining/living area, featuring an upright piano for music lovers and is heated by a log fire on the colder nights or a heat pump if preferred. A deck area flows off the lounge and another off the dining area for outdoor entertaining. The kitchen has views over the Hanmer forests which certainly makes cooking and dishwashing less of a chore. This is a well equipped kitchen that includes an espresso coffee machine, as well as a Nespresso, for coffee lovers (Nespresso takes the original capsules). Please note the kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The main level has two bedrooms down a short hall off the dining area, each containing queen size beds. The bathroom on this level has a shower and vanity, with the toilet and laundry both being separate. The upper level has a large bedroom with 1 single and 2 king single beds. The second bathroom has a bath, vanity and toilet. As this property is located on Conical Hill, average fitness is required to walk up to this property from the village. For those who are keen to take advantage of the views and tracks, access to both cycling and walking tracks are close, including the Conical Hill track straight out the driveway up Acheron Heights. For your entertainment there are a number of games to play, books to read, and a smart TV in the living room. In the upper level bedroom there is a TV and a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs including children’s titles. The house has fibre WIFI which is unlimited and included in the price of your stay. There is no sky TV. Guests are required to bring their own sheets and towels. A minimum of three nights' stay applies to long weekends/statutory holiday periods, otherwise a two night stay is required.
