About this Holiday House

A GREAT WINTER OR SUMMER GETAWAY. A perfect place to stay. Located just 6mins to Hanmer Village. 2 superior standalone established cottages. Each with 1 bedroom and ideal for couples. Finished in Western Red Cedar and in a quiet rural atmosphere overlooking paddocks to the mountains. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen and offering a variety of supplies. The adjoining living/dining room has a logfire (wood supplied) and heat pump. Spacious bathroom with shower. Private BBQ. All improvements furnished to a high standard. Enjoy the quietness and tranquility.

This cabin, one of 2, is tucked away on a quiet road a few kms out of Hanmer. It’s so peaceful, the only noise is from the numerous birds. It’s comfortable and big enough for 2, with views over fields and trees. And we loved the delicious cheese/fruit/cold cuts board so thoughtfully prepared with a ribbon attached. Thank you so much.

A great location in the country, close to the village. Nice and cosy with a log burner. We were well looked after. Highly recommended.

The most gorgeous place to stay. We spent our Honeymoon there. The hosts were excellent & super friendly without being invasive. Secluded, yet handy to town. Much better than staying right in Hanmer. Very reasonably priced. We'll be going back. We were the first guests to stay in our cottage. We stayed not long before it officially opened, due to a shortage in accommodation and it was just after the earthquake. We were treated to farm fresh eggs and bacon.
