A GREAT WINTER GET AWAY. Located just 8 minutes from Hanmer Alpine Village - Woodbank Cottages offer 2 superior standalone cottages. Each with 1 bedroom and finished in Western Red Cedar in a quiet rural atmosphere. There is a modern kitchen/living/dining room and log fire/heatpump, all finished to a high standard. The views here are over paddocks to the nearby mountains. Ideal for a couple and a perfect place to stay.

A rural atmosphere but close to Hanmer Village with its many cafes, thermal pools, golf, bungy jump, mountain biking, white water rafting, horse treks, helicopter flights, skiing and snowboarding or just relax in this wonderful environment. Our cottages are quiet and private.

The most gorgeous place to stay. We spent our Honeymoon there. The hosts were excellent & super friendly without being invasive. Secluded, yet handy to town. Much better than staying right in Hanmer. Very reasonably priced. We'll be going back. We were the first guests to stay in our cottage. We stayed not long before it officially opened, due to a shortage in accommodation and it was just after the earthquake. We were treated to farm fresh eggs and bacon.
