If some down time is on your list of must haves then Lake Ohau is just the location and this house the perfect accommodation. Lake Ohau village is just 10 minutes off SH8. Down Time At Lake Ohau is located in a sheltered part of the village a short walk from the Lake. The house is fitted out with all modern conveniences. 2 Queens and 3 Singles. We really enjoyed our two-night stay in this nice, spacious holiday home. It’s in a great location, had everything we needed, and was very clean, warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the views from inside and from the deck, particularly watching the light change at dawn and dusk. Lake Ohau is magical and we’d love to stay again here next time we make it back.

We had a very nice few days away at the Lake Ohau Getaway and would like to visit again. The views are amazing and it was warm and very well equipped so we were happy to spend time inside as well as exploring the nearby walks and the Ohau ski field.
