About this Holiday House

This house is situated within the Lake Ohau Alpine Village. The perfect location to access Ohau Ski Field (20mins), Lake Ohau or Lake Middleton. There is great access to walking tracks and the A2O biking track. This 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house with large upstairs mezzanine (4th bedroom area) has fantastic views of Lake Ohau and the Ben Ohau Range. The open plan Kitchen, lounge dining area easily accommodates 8 guests. The log burner provides warmth on chilly nights. Outside there is a grassed area overlooking Lake Ohau. Relax on the picnic table or outdoor seating to enjoy the view. BBQ provided. Cleaning products are provided and you will be required to leave the house clean.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Ohau is a small, off-the-beaten-track town that acts as a gateway to Lake Ohau, numerous walking tracks, the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail and the Ohau Snow Fields. Found between Omarama and Twizel, the drive into Ohau is spectacular in its own right. The area is beautifully rugged and painted with beautiful yellow, orange and brown hues synonymous with the South Island high country. The prominent Ben Ohau mountain range stands watch over the far side of Lake Ohau. The village is surrounded by mountains and water, with the highest of the Southern Alps including Mount Cook visible on a clear day. The views are even more impressive from up the hill at Ohau Snow Field

Nice place to stay, clean , tidy, roomy. As the title says.. R&R, this is the place. Good views of mountains and close to the lake. Owners very friendly. Awesome place to stay and recommended. Thank you to owners. Hopefully back in winter time.
