Well insulated, fully double glazed, plenty of space with upstairs and downstairs living rooms, large garage with auto door and with woodburner with wetback and solar hot water system in summer keeps everyone cosy. Wooden flooring downstairs, carpeted upstairs. Underfloor tiled heating in kitchen and bathroom and firewood can be provided in winter. StarLink Wifi connection in place. Lake Ohau is one of New Zealand's secret getaways. Surrounded by vast amounts of conservation land, with a great skifield a few minutes away and great food at 5 mins away at the Lodge restaurant bar, as well as all the water sports you wish in summer. With good access to the new mountain to sea cycle trail, fishing, mountain biking, tramping, just relaxing. Good supermarket 30 mins away. If you want a good holiday away from the hustle and bustle in either winter or summer and love the outdoors come and visit. House requires you to clean up after yourselves. We prefer you bring your own linen. Washing Machine and Dryer onsite and large chest freezer. Sky dish installed but we only use Freeview so can bring your own decoder if you wish.
