Our family has been staying at the Log House for over 10 years, and it's fair to say it feels like home. We go back because it has everything needed for a great family stay. Roomy bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen, plenty of space in the living and dining area, and extra storage in the garage. The Log Fire cranks out the heat when needed, and dry firewood is stored in the shed, which also is a handy place to store bikes and other outdoor gear. It's always beautifully clean on arrival. The location is stunning. The deck makes the outdoor space perfect for sitting outside any time of the day, with views that are breathtaking. This place feeds the soul.

We stay here in July as a group of 4 couples each with 1 year old toddlers and had a great time! The log cabin is spacious, warm, cosy and as a bonus the kitchen was extremely well equipped with all sorts of appliances (even a sandwich press!). Loved the log burner and all round character of the cabin. The big lawn outside was lovely for the little ones to explore and we all really enjoyed our stay here. Only very slight inconvenience was that the water supply was subject to a boil notice when we visited, however the owners had kindly provided a large container of drinking water on arrival which kept us going for the first day, which we just had to keep topped up by boiling water after that (the closest shop is a 20min drive away in Twizel). However we managed just fine, and this in no way reflected on our overall experience. We would definitely stay again!

A fabulous holiday house! Our family of 6 adults had a lovely few days at the log house. It was beautifully warm, great bedroom and bathroom facilities and every thing necessary for catering. We loved the views (particularly from the spacious bedrooms), and the large log construction and decor provided plenty of character for a winter holiday in the mountains. We would certainly use again.
