Grant was a great host, very communicative, and their house has everything we needed for our stay. This is the 2nd time I've been to the home and we loved our stay.

Wonderful large, warm house, comfortably accommodated 9 of us. Very well equipped with everything you would need and more! Great outdoor spa much enjoyed, very private with amazing views.

We had an amazing stay at Grant and Mary's beautiful house in Lake Ōhau — the views were breathtaking! We loved waking up to the lake and seeing Aoraki/Mt Cook in the distance.. and the sunsets and sunrises out the giant windows were simply stunning. The house was warm, comfortable, and perfectly located for easy access to Ōhau Ski Field. One thing to note: if you're planning to dine at Ōhau Lodge, especially on a busy weekend, make sure to book a few days in advance. We had hoped to eat there one night, but priority went to guests staying at the lodge and it was fully booked. Since the nearest shops are about 30 minutes away, it’s a good idea to come prepared with food just in case. Overall, a peaceful and scenic spot — we’d absolutely come back again!
