About this Holiday House

The charming Seafarer’s Cottage is a small, cosy, self-contained, private, romantic hideaway nestled within the mature English and native gardens of Rugosa Cottage, a historic home near the heart of Portobello village. Whether your holiday calls for leisure and indulgence or activity and adventure, Seafarer’s Cottage is the ideal home base for your Otago Peninsula experience. The cottage has limited kitchenette style facilities, not really set up for long stays or full self catering. If relaxation is the order of your holiday, spend the morning in your own private garden, curled up with a book and enjoying the native birdsong. Please note: Cats and dogs (very friendly) live on this property, but will not come into your cottage, unless you allow them to. (*If you don't like dogs or have serious allergies, our place might not be for you.)

This wee cottage is cute and cosy, wee but perfectly formed in every way! The delightful greeting from Beau and the bird song made our day :) You definitely don't mind the drive out the Peninsular if this is at the end of it :)
