Overlooking the sea at Waimarama Beach, this two-bedroom, open plan house is the perfect holiday getaway. Relax on the deck with a bbq and enjoy the view from Bare Island across to Cape Kidnappers or lie in the outdoor bath with a glass of wine listening to the sea! Set in native trees, with off-street parking. Grab a surfboard or just go for a swim or walk on the beautiful sandy beach, one minute's walk away! Note: Can be rented in Tandem with Puka cottage on the same property. Then sleeps 7+ perfect for an extended family. Enquire about rates.

Surfing across the Road. 9 hole Golf course up the hill (we think it's still there! - check it out Wairunga Cottages). Good coastal walking, and swimming. Boating as well.

The Terraces is a wonderful hoilday home ... nestled in nikau and puka trees, there is bird song, fantastic views of the ocean, very comfortable living spaces, fabulous beds, light and airy feel, plus a lovely outdoor bath and eating area. Excellent. Fantastic thank-you Janet and Ken .:-)

Great 5 night stay in early Feb. The place is very cozy, ‘beachy’, and has everything you would want for a getaway. Great outdoor deck for a drink and views. Easy access to walk or swim on the beach. The android tv means you can also watch the latest movies or live sport. Ideal for 1 person up to two couples. Janet is also very accomodating in answering any questions as well. Will be looking to stay again

We had a good stay at 'The Terraces' and Janet was very helpful. The accommodation has everything you need to spend a few pleasant days there. The area is quiet and there is a lovely sea view from the terrace. However, the house could do with a good clean, especially the kitchen area. But also the terrace area and the green areas should perhaps be maintained more often.
