Our space is perfect for tradies & those looking for a home.
Aro Village is less than 1km away, with cafe’s, superette’s, fruit & vegies, craft beer brewery & shops.
We are near the Cuba Quarter with its vibrance. Beyond Cuba Quarter is Courtney Place for food, nightlife/entertainment & the CBD for business, shopping & restaurants.
We offer a tranquil space where you could easily forget you are so close to the city!
If you walk up the street less than a minute away is the Waimapihi stream and Polhill reserve which leads up to the top of Brooklyn and goes all the way to the South Coast.
The house is a late 90’s 3 bedroom home refurbished in 2022 and set back off a quiet side street with no through traffic and ample off street parking - very unusual in Wellington.
All of this guest space is on one level and we have central heating/air conditioning for your comfort no matter the season.
It has a fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining room and living room with a brand new Smart TV which has free to view apps such as TV3 and TVNZ on Demand, that you can watch and has a Chromecast functionality. It has other viewing apps installed if you wish to login with your account to watch your favourites.
There is a Nespresso machine (& milk frother) with a selection of pods to enjoy.
Off the lounge is a sunny semi-covered sun porch which is very sheltered.
With three separate bedrooms Bedroom 1 & 2 have queen sized beds and Bedroom 3 has a double bed and a study desk.
Each bedroom has a built in wardrobe with plenty of coat hangers.
Linen is provided for all beds, with extra bedding on-site.
There is a recently renovated (Nov 2022) bathroom off the hallway with a full sized bathtub, perfect for relaxing in.
Fresh towels are provided for guests.
A brand new Rinnai means mains pressure and unlimited hot water.
We provide a hairdryer in the bathroom.
All bathroom flooring, fittings and fixtures are brand new in crisp white and matte black with a glass screen.
We have a full length mirror in the bathroom & master bedroom.
The laundry has a washing machine, dryer and iron with ironing board.
If you like being outdoors, there is a sunny front lawn or a more private back yard with a fenced and gated section.
Please note the lower level of the house is tenanted and the left parking space is reserved for the tenants motorhome.
We offer parking spaces for one vehicle. If you have more than one please check when you book as we may be able to accommodate you.
You will have the upper level of the home to yourself.
However should you need assistance we are just a few minutes away.
Underneath the house is rented separately. There is a Motorhome belonging to the downstairs tenants which reserves the left parking space as per the photos.
There are approximately 10 stairs into the house with a set on each side and two entry points.
Each entry has an exterior security camera for your security and ours.
We live nearby so if needed are a phone call away and can be onsite in just a few minutes, however the house, backyard and balcony space is exclusively for guests.
There is a tenant who rents space for their motorhome and rents the downstairs apartment as well as the back garden so we ask guests please don't touch the back garden.
We offer off street parking free of charge for two vehicles. You may fit 3 if you park behind each other. We can cater to up to 6 vehicles with some notice.
There is a leased motor home space on the left hand side which we ask guests to please leave vacant and not block if it is empty.
You can park 2-3 standard sized SUV vehicles alongside the leased car space on the gravel. Please NO parking on the lawn.
Important to note, the street is not overly suitable for large vehicles or long trailers and large campers (6m+) as it’s quite a narrow road and depending how many other vehicles you have on site, turning around may be an issue. Please reach out for more information if you have an oversized vehicle. Confident drivers may be fine with the road and property, however inexperienced drivers have been known to need rescue.
This house is in a very close knit community so we ask you to please be respectful of the neighbours, but we think you will find them very friendly!
Most will wave as they go past or say hello should they see you outside. It’s a wonderful little area and we love it. There is so much character here and the community is wonderfully giving.
