About this Holiday House

Right on waterfront of the estuary at Pataua South, Whangarei. Four bedroom, two bathroom house, sleeps 8 people - max 6 adults. House is very well-equipped and comfortably furnished. Ideal for relaxing family holidays, the large living/dining/kitchen room opens onto beachfront deck, with high tide just 4 metres away. Pataua North surf beach 15 mins' walk and very safe Frogtown ocean beach is 10 mins' walk. NOTE house sleeps 8 in total with a maximum of 6 adults as one bedroom has bunks suitable only for children. Rates are based on guests leaving the house as clean as they found it and include bed linen and towels. Payment is by direct credit via internet banking: 25% payable on acceptance of booking. 75% balance payable 2 weeks before arrival. Standard check-in: 3pm Standard check-out: 10am

Special Amenities

Two-storey house with large living/dining/kitchen room that opens onto deck and lawn area on very edge of Pataua estuary. House also has large first floor deck. double carport with electric vehicle charging point, two kayaks for guests' use, lawn area with parking for extra cars and boat. Boat ramp a few metres away. Kitchen is very well equipped and all linen provided.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Very safe beach and swimming at the door, suitable for children.Two ocean beaches within walking distance. Pipis and cockles in the estuary's sparkling clean water. Supermarket, cafe, pub, golf all within 15 mins drive. 30 mins drive from central Whangarei.

Great space and the peaceful views are amazing. Other reviews are very accurate. We had someone staying in the sleep out at the start of the property during our stay. No disruption at all but it would have been good to know about this and the security cameras on site prior to our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Greenie. The house is well equiped with everything that you would expect to find at home. Being so close to the inner lagoon there is often something to watch or look at and at other times it can be absolutely serene. We will definitely return at some time not so far into the future. Many thanks to our hosts.

NOTE 4: A bond of $200 is payable by first-time guests, refundable after departure, once property has been checked for any damage/breakages.
