About this Holiday House
Situated in peaceful surroundings on a quiet residential site of just six well-spaced houses, this modern open-plan home has spectacular views across the Bay to Russell, looks down to the Waitangi River or to a lagoon and bushland in the opposite direction, whilst having easy access to Paihia's beaches, restaurants and shops.
This tastefully furnished large 3 bedroomed home is
perfect for couples who wish to relax in comfortable and very
spacious surroundings - which also permit considerable privacy if sharing a holiday with friends.
The town's major supermarket is just 3 minutes drive away - and conveniently situated before having to enter the Paihia town centre.
Experience the best of all worlds by either relaxing on the generous
verandahs and enjoying the diverse views (or the lovely sunsets),
touring from this ideal starting point just outside the edge of Paihia or taking a 3-minute drive into Paihia for the many diverse activities on offer there. These range from bay trips, dolphin watching or game fishing, parasail rides to view the area or conducted tours and so on.
The main boat ramp is just 4 minutes drive away - and just beyond
that is the Waitangi Treaty Site, with its important and interesting
visitor centre.
Interestingly as well, in the lagoon that can be viewed from the home, the first settlers received their supplies as they created
their early settlements - and the old causeway can still be seen at low tide.
The main local town of Kerikeri is only 15ks away with specialist shops and restaurants available and from there one can continue to the north and on to Cape Reinga or west and south to the Kauri forests and other important attractions.
Minimum stay is 2 nights.
