MK Studio is a fully self contained home away from home. A modern beach bach studio tucked away amongst tropical plants and fruits with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains (Ikurangi & Te Manga). It is named after our 2 children Manea and Ke'ona and acknowledges our connections to the land and our ancestors - Makea Nui (Ngati Rupe - Taiava line). We are located in Avarua near the historical Avarua church, Makea Palace, Cook Islands National Museum and in walking distance to town, markets, restaurants, cafes, movie theatre, bus stop and beach. It is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, writers, artists and professionals and have access to the entire place. You can relax on the hammock or take a nice stroll to the waters edge for a refreshing swim or to watch the sunset.
