Our House is in the beautiful river valley of Takuvaine. It is a ten minute walk to downtown Avarua. The house consists of one bedroom and bathroom with a large indoor /outdoor covered living and kitchen/dining area with great views up to the mountains behind. It is well appointed with very comfortable furniture, sound system, television, landline and Weber BBQ, and is great to live in. Takuvaine is very close to Avarua and all the amenities of the main town. Restaurants, shops, supermarket, movie theatre, bars, night life, the Pununga Nui (Saturday morning market) , churches. Cars and bikes to rent are just a short walk away. The bus that goes round the island both ways begins in Avarua making it possible to do without renting a vehicle. People are really friendly and this is a great place to live. Being close to town means that all the resorts, beaches and walks are all really handy to you. Just drive, ride or bus round the island.. You can get a pre-ordered taxi for your pick-ups so you don't have to worry about finding somewhere by yourself. We have a really helpful manager who will help you if you should need it. The rate is $100 per night with a minimum stay of one week. For each full week following the first week the rate is $500 per week. .
