Outstanding character cottage accommodation in lovely semi rural setting. Every facility provided with style and attention to detail. Location couldn’t be bettered on the Mapua Estuary in central Tasman Bay. Top drawer stay with hosts Lesley & Darryl who run the Art Gallery adjacent.

This was a perfect little cottage to spend the long weekend. It had everything we needed and was so lovely and clean on arrival. The welcome basket was a very thoughtful and an appreciated surprise. The beds were comfy and warm and we had everything we needed. The kids loved the swing ball and exploring the garden, meeting the neighbouring sheep and the tuis that came within feet of us. The only downside we experienced were the extra low tides which meant that we didn't get out in the kayaks as planned - but there is obviously no control over that! Thanks for the great stay, we would love to come back.

We stayed at Bronte Tides for 4 nights over Easter. What a stunning place to unwind and relax. The house itself really is a home away from home with everything you need. We loved all the personal touches such as all the lovely artwork, fresh fruit on our arrival and fresh flowers. The views over the inlet are amazing and it was lovely being able to sit outside and watch the fantails, kingfisher and of course, Woolly and his friends! Thank you so much Lesley and Darryl - you are wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back
