Notes 1) 1) Ngarimu Bay is a quiet community; most properties are permanently occupied by their retired owners. It is not acceptable to have loud parties or play music outside at night. Expect unacceptable noise levels to trigger a visit from the council noise control officer. If there are repeat complaints about unacceptable noise levels, the officer is authorised to seize equipment and/or issue a $500 infringement.
