Fishing charters are available and there is a great golf course within a 2 minute drive. Our home is extremely relaxing,comfortably furnished and totally self contained.Your own slice of paradise.The property is very private,ideally suited for a couple wanting a romantic getaway,you can sip champagne in the bath and see the harbour views or see the beautiful sunsets from the deck. Kawhia is famous for its great fish & chips from the Kawhia Fish Shop opposite the wharf. The Kawhia Boat Club has nice meals on Friday & Saturday nights,visitors are welcome. The Kawhia Sands & The Kawhia Hotel have a great selection of lovely food on their respective menus. At Ocean Beach you can take your spade & dig you own hot pool at low tide & enjoy a nice bottle of wine & all the tranquility of Kawhia. Please note there is parking at the driveway access to the property. So there is a reasonable walk up a grass walkway up to the Bach which is not suitable for anyone who has any health or mobility issues. This is a SmokeFree property.
