Raglan is a funky bustling town with a lot on offer. If you like to explore the outdoors there are many options. Challenge yourself with a hike up Karioi mountain, head out to Te Toto gorge and take in the breathtaking ocean views, marvel at bridal veil falls or take a cruise around Raglan’s harbour and learn about the history of Raglan, the people and the land. If you want a bit of activity, try out surfing with Greenwave surf school, hire kayaks or book a kayak tour, try out the rockclimbing with Raglan Rock, take a paddleboard out on the harbour, book a kitesurfing lesson or head out on one of Raglan’s charter boats and see what you can catch. There is an abundance of yoga and Pilates on offer in Raglan with some awesome studios in town. Try out a class at The Space, Raglan in the hub of the village We are less than 5 minutes drive in one direction from the world famous left hand pointbreaks and in the other direction Raglan township where you will find an array of interesting stores and fantastic cafes. We are 10 minutes drive from Raglan wharf where you will find the popular fish and chip shop, more stores and the wharf kitchen and bar if you are after a bite to eat and a drink on the deck whilst watching the boats cruise by in the harbour We are a stone’s throw away from the main surf beach and Wainui bush reserve where you will find fantastic walking tracks through the trees lining the stream. Just down the road is the Raglan mountain bike trail which will take you winding through the pine forest on varying level tracks There are many delicious cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes drive including Solscape eco retreat and Rockit kitchen. Check out the numerous art studios darted around the town if you are after a bit of creative culture We have some very amazing massage therapists nearby, two of which are located on the same road as the accommodation who we would highly recommend.
