About this Holiday House

After having a break in 2020 we are delighted to once again share our hidden retreat in the hills. This two bedroom, self contained guest wing of a family home, is a peaceful, private getaway for those who want to be only a 5 minute drive to the village but enjoy the lovely country aspect to relax, tucked away in the Havelock Hills. Separate entrance and parking which can accommodate limited disability requirements and ensures privacy. Undercover decking for outdoor dining offers indoor/outdoor flow great for the Hawkes Bay climate. This 10 year old property has double glazing with extra heating and cooling facilities. A 10 meter salt pool leads off your private deck to enjoy an early morning swim or all day relaxation and a Continental breakfast is supplied for the first morning. Additional beds and bedding available depending on circumstances. Laundry facilities are located within the guest wing. This 2 acre property has good space for parking, horse floats and larger vehicles. The 3 resident alpacas usually welcome you as you drive into the property as will the abundant birdlife and family dog, Lucy. If you visit in the fig season you will enjoy an abundance of fresh figs from the owners 100 fig trees terraced on the hillside.

Centrally located, modern, double glazing, with x3 wall TV's in unit. Lovely views to the Kaweka and ranges and sunsets. Residential lifestyle property in the Havelock Hills, bordered by a working farm. 100 fig trees on terraced hillside. Three resident Alpacas, and abundant bird life.

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay at Steve and Flo’s guest wing. As soon as we walked in we felt relaxed. We were travelling with two small children and found the space more than adequate. The private car space was only a few steps to the door of the unit which made transferring kids from the car a breeze. We loved the welcoming touches and enjoyed relaxing by the gas log fire on the comfy couches. 10/10 recommend!
