Set in secluded landscaped gardens. Close to Kai Iwi Lakes and Omamari Beach. Nearest town Dargaville 25 minute drive, 2 1/2 hours from Auckland. Large lock up boat shed available.Quiet,peaceful,cosy and warm cottage.

We loved staying at Waiata Manu and wished we’d organised ourselves for a second night. Super comfortable accommodation close to Kai iwi lakes and the beautiful white sand West Coast beaches. I had a great time riding my bike around the area. Trounsen Kauri Park is well worth a visit and the surrounding countryside is golden in late summer.
We felt right at home with Warren and Vivienne.

A fabulous retreat -peaceful surroundings in separate accommadation close to the friendly hosts and their dog. Plenty to do as in walking and sight seeing whether at the nearby Kai Iwi Lakes or beaches and a local Pub that does good hearty meals Weds.-Sun and live music at the weekends. A place we would return to and happy to recommend.
