Set in secluded landscaped gardens. Close to Kai Iwi Lakes and Omamari Beach. Nearest town Dargaville 25 minute drive, 2 1/2 hours from Auckland. Large lock up boat shed available.Quiet,peaceful,cosy and warm cottage.

Great location for Kai Iwi lakes, and the beach is also well worth a visit. (Thanks to the hosts for giving us the tip). No cooker, but very smart barbecue, air frier + electric fry pan so no problems.
Friendly and helpful hosts who live next door. They are there if needed but otherwise you hardly see them.

We loved staying at Waiata Manu and wished we’d organised ourselves for a second night. Super comfortable accommodation close to Kai iwi lakes and the beautiful white sand West Coast beaches. I had a great time riding my bike around the area. Trounsen Kauri Park is well worth a visit and the surrounding countryside is golden in late summer.
We felt right at home with Warren and Vivienne.
