The house benefits from all day sun on a point overlooking breath taking scenery of the merger of 3 of the areas sounds. The house is located on a large site with plenty of outdoor areas for kids to play including large bottom lawn for cricket and other games. Boat access is available at the local slip way at Moetapu Bay approx. 2 minutes by road away. Direct drive-in access with ample car and boat parking on site along with water for washing the boat.

The home is within 15 minutes drive to the Queen Charlotte walk and cycling track,30 minutes drive to Picton Ferry Terminal, the Marlborough wine growing area along with other Marlborough attractions. Within 2 minutes drive is the Moetapu Bay beach, a golden sand beach.

My partner and I have stayed at the batch multiple times over the years. Every time we stay there we fall in love with the place more and more. To wake up to a view as breathtaking as the one at moetapu never fails to mesmerise us. This batch is hands down one of the sounds hidden gems in t he Marlborough sounds.

I have been a regular visitor for more than 10 years - I keep going back. The location has easy road access but feels like an idyllic hideaway with 270 degree views of water, bush and sky. It has become my ‘happy place’. The house is relaxed and comfortable and the garden and surrounds attract abundant bird life. Good walks, access to the water below or a short hop to swimming beaches down the way. I highly recommend it for both short or longer breaks.

A cosy comfortable spacious home with a stunning view. The tuis and other birds were an absolute delight. Excellent communication. Be careful of the oyster shells at the beach, booties essential.
