About this Holiday House

Beautiful modern house on 16 acres and 100 metres from a lake. Popular with large family groups. 20 minutes to Rotorua, 35 minutes to Taupo. Kayaks provided. Thermal hotpools 3km down the road. Huge living area with magnificent views. Great fishing, watersports, hunting, and golf course close by. Many other lakes are in close proximity.

Special Amenities

This lodge is perfectly situated for the wide range of activities in the Rotorua and Taupo area. There is a lake suitable for fishing, kayaking, and wakeborading literally 100m from the house. The house is in a quiet rural area with a beautiful view of the lake, wooded mountains, and lush farmland. There are possibly the best hot pools in NZ 3 minutes down the road, as well as a golf course nearby. Rotorua is 20 minutes drive away, Taupo is 35 minutes, and the Waikato river is 15 minutes drive away. There is a geyser, mud pools, and a lot of interesting thermal activity nearby as well. The house itself is a fully functional house with a huge lounge, open plan kitchen, and dining area. It has a large deck area, and can sleep up to 15 people. Come and enjoy it for yourself!

This was my second stay at this property, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed here with our large family ranging from 1 to 71! There was plenty of space for everyone without feeling like we were stepping on eachother toes and everyone stayed well entertained (when we did spend time at the house). A great location with a beautiful view and the hot pools down the road were a great bonus! I feel the photos didn't quite do the house justice as it's much bigger in person. We went during a cooler time of year and weren't able to enjoy the kayaks but we'd love to return in a warmer season to make the most of these too. We would recommend to anyone wanting to accommodate a large group near Taupo or Rotorua. Thanks for accommodating our large family.

Rave Review: the best place we've ever found for our multi-generational extended-family get-togethers. The big open plan kitchen/living/dining area works so well. Cooking and dining capacity was the best ever - kitchen was really well supplied, we rearranged the tables/chairs multiple ways for various dining or games options. Having some bedrooms separated for older members who needed a slightly quieter option away from the teenagers was superb! Great range of activities both indoor and outdoor, for both good weather and bad weather. Lodge managers responsive and helpful. Plenty more to rave about, highly recommended!
