There is a good fruit and veggie shop, a fish and chip shop and a bakery at Woodend, a supermarket at Pegasus, organics at Tuahiwi and great Farmers markets Friday mornings Ohoka, Saturday mornings Kaiapoi, and Sunday mornings at Oxford, Church services at Woodend, Oxford, Rangiora and Kaiapoi, Fishing at Kaiapoi, Waimakriri or Ashley Rivers or attend a movie in Rangiora or the museum in Kaiapoi.
