Built in 1860 Okains View farmhouse is a rustic 5 bedroom 4 bathroom spacious, well equipped oasis ideal for one or two families seeking paradise in luxury. Large living spaces, cosy fires, super king beds, surrounded by a working beef farm. Private yet providing full beach views. Feeling like you are at the end of the earth, yet minutes from the beach and 20 mins from Akaroa. A special place to relax and enjoy. Rates include all linen (bedding and towels etc) and all cleaning.

The view is absolutely beautiful and the highlight of the house. You can watch a spectacular sunrise right from the lounge, main bedroom or out on the deck. The house is well equipped with everything you would need for an extended stay. Ideal for large families or extended family groups - 3 of the bedrooms have ensuite which was ideal for us. Bedding was warm, clean and comfy. Plenty of firewood was supplied for the cosy fire. The owners were quick with contact, and very helpful. Thank you :)

The perfect spot for a girls weekend away! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy each others company in the serenity of Okains Bay. The rooms with ensuites were handy to warm up after a dip in the sea, the lounge space was large but homely and the deck overlooking the bay was a magical spot to watch the sun go down. We all agreed this is to be added to the "MUST RETURN" list. Thanks for a lovely stay.
