Set on a large section on a quiet street, with spectacular lake views in front and mountain views behind. Easy walking along the lakefront and handy to the local coffee carts and cafes. The nearest boat ramp is 300 metres up the road at Misson Point or the full monty with the Marina 5 kms away at Motuoapa. (Ring the Harbourmaster 073787176 for a temporary berth if required) Great Lake fishing from boat or kayak in front or try the famed local rivers for a fly fish. Guides are readily available if required. If going to town is your thing, there is lots to see and do in Taupo (25 minutes) with hot swims and sightseeing or head to the Tongariro National Park for skiing or walking/hiking. (1 hour drive to Chateau). There are lots of cycle trails. There's a good ride along the Tongariro River starting and finishing in Turangi. There are some good eateries locally (try the Hare and Copper) or for a lovely scenic dinner, head around to Oreti Resort near Pukawa with Hot Pools at Tokaanu as well. Lots to do and see! Or just enjoy the amenities at the house, kick back and relax!

Just off S H 1 on Waitetoko Road, very handy to the Lake for safe swimming, boat ramps and fly-fishing rivers, our 2 storied house provides all the comforts and amenities along with a great outdoor deck area upstairs to take in the views and enjoy a refreshment with a BBQ. Handy to Taupo for shopping and hot pools, Turangi for the same, and an hour from Whakapapa for winter skiing or enjoying the National Park walks. Plentiful off road parking space for boats and the toys.
