Modern sunny unit in peaceful rural setting. Open plan spacious layout with seating, dining and kitchen. Separate bedroom with queen bed and good sized wardrobe. Couch can convert to a double sized sofa bed, which can be packed away through the day if needed. A single trundle bed is available and can be set up in either the main bedroom alongside the queen bed, or in the lounge beside the sofa bed. (Photos in listing show the different bedding options available – 5 people max) All bed sheets, pillows, duvets and blankets are included in the nightly rate. The living space opens out to a concreted patio area with outdoor chairs, a Weber BBQ and a gas fire brazier. Kitchen is equipped with full sized fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, Delonghi Multi Grill and pantry. Spacious light and bright bathroom equipped with towels, complimentary shampoo and shower gel. Double glazing, panel & fan heaters and good insulation keep the unit cosy and warm. There is a smart TV with free wifi. Guest parking is alongside the unit well off the road. Boat/trailer parking is also available. Close to SH1, we are approximately 15 minutes along the main highway to the Mitre 10 end of Taupo, and 12 minutes into Taupo. Guests can explore the forest -a great space for a short hike, and kids can find the “hunter’s cabin”. You may see a hawk, rabbit or pheasant along with our friendly flock of sheep. Outdoor table tennis table and trampoline are also available for use. The unit is located on the back of a double garage (used only for storage, not cars) near the main house, looking out towards our gardens. The host family may be in the garden or surrounding paddocks, however, they will respect your privacy. Laundry service, beach/pool towels, sun umbrella, kayaks and bike stand (for 4 bikes) available on request.
